Welcome to What Falls Up — a personal newsletter from me, Tim Falls, to my community, friends, and family. I hope it helps keep us connected and in conversation about our lives and other important stuff.

My intention for this newsletter is to connect with people, create opportunities for others to connect with each other, and provide a space for dialogue to deepen connections.

What’s in a newsletter?

Notable life updates, like “I moved (again)!”* or, “I adopted a puppy!”* or, “I’m working on this neat, new thing!”

Information and perspectives on things that are important to me (and, in my opinion, to all of us). Topics could relate to community, climate, culture, consciousness, nature (plants, animals, fungi, etc), and other things that might spark curiosity and/or motivate action. Will it get “political” sometimes? Most likely because politics are everywhere.

Reply, comment, share

Conversations are more fun when they’re balanced, so please feel free to reply and/or comment and share what’s new with you, your thoughts on topics of focus, etc. To create a safe environment for dialogue, I commit to listening with curiosity and without judgment, seeking to understand your perspective, and bringing patience and compassion to our discussion. I hope this commitment is reciprocated.

Feedback

Feedback will help me gauge how this lands, make adjustments, and create an enjoyable experience for as many people as possible.
